Life is getting easier. As I grow up, there are common themes running through my life. There are repetitive dots scattered across the matrix of my life. This year, I began to draw the lines connecting those dots.
One major aspect of this has been the trial and error of diets. Eating habits that worked and discovering ones that, despite thinking they were healthy, did not. Going from Quaker instant oatmeal to steel cut oats was apparently a step in the right direction. Then, learning from a nutritionist that steel cut oats ‘scratch’ the gut, had me backtracking to rolled oats.
Best stay away from oats altogether. Stop eating grains, avoid starches. No meat, no dairy. What’s left?
